BVN verification online
BVN verification shows the details held on a BVN record and gives you a printable BVN slip as a PDF. Enter the 11-digit BVN; the search goes to an authorised verification provider and the result normally appears on screen straight away.
What you need
- A verified Trust ID Hub account with enough wallet balance.
- The 11-digit BVN.
- The BVN owner's permission if the BVN is not yours.
If no record is found
The full fee is returned to your wallet automatically. Successful slips can be downloaded again from your history at no extra cost.

BVN modification services
We can submit corrections to the name, date of birth, phone number or address on a BVN that was registered through an agent. The final decision belongs to the responsible institution, so approval is never guaranteed.
Who can use it
- Your BVN must have been registered through an agent. BVNs registered at a bank branch must be corrected at your bank, and we cannot accept them.
- You need your NIN as well as your BVN.
- If you declare an agent-registered BVN that was in fact registered at a bank, the request is rejected without a refund.
How it works
- Record check (₦150.00). We fetch the current BVN record; the fee is refunded if no record is found.
- Choose the changes. Pick one or more changes; fees are added together.
- Track progress in your dashboard until the request is completed.
