How Trust ID Hub collects, uses and protects your personal data.
JewelStack Technologies, trading as Trust ID Hub ("we"), is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the terms of our service providers. Contact: support@trustidhub.com.ng, Abacha Quarters, Gombe, Gombe State, Nigeria.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password.
- Service data: the information a specific service requires, such as your NIN or BVN, date of birth, address, business details and supporting documents. We only ask for what the service needs.
- Payment data: deposit amounts, the virtual account that received them, payer name and a masked payer account number provided by our payment partner. We never receive your card details or banking passwords.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs used to protect accounts and detect fraud.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and provide the services you request (performance of a contract).
- To submit requests you authorise to the responsible authority or provider, with your consent, which you give on each request form.
- To keep financial records, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
- To send you transactional emails about your account, payments and requests. We do not send marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
- BillStack (payment partner) to create your virtual account and confirm payments. If you request a PalmPay account, your NIN or BVN is sent to BillStack for that purpose. We keep only the last four digits and a one-way fingerprint.
- Authorised service providers and authorities (for example NIMC or CAC channels) only as needed to process a request you submitted.
- Our hosting and email providers, under confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement or regulators where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
How we protect it
- Identity numbers and other sensitive form values are encrypted in our database and masked on screen.
- Uploaded documents and results are stored outside the public website, under random names, and can only be downloaded by you or authorised staff after signing in. Every download is logged.
- We do not attach identity documents to emails.
- Staff access is limited by role and recorded in audit logs.
How long we keep it
- Supporting documents you upload are deleted 180 days after the request is closed.
- Completed results are deleted 365 days after the request is closed. Download and keep your own copy.
- Financial records (wallet transactions, deposits and refunds) are kept for as long as the law requires, even after you close your account.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and request a copy of your data, subject to legal retention requirements. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. To exercise your rights, email support@trustidhub.com.ng.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms from forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
